Legal information
Terms of use
The conditions for using Discerai responsibly and safely.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate information, protect your password and review active sessions. You are responsible for activity under your account until you report or revoke unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service, bypass limits, upload malware, invade privacy, impersonate others, or use Discerai for unlawful, harmful or academically dishonest activity.
Uploads and intellectual property
Only upload or publish material you own or are allowed to use. You retain rights in your content and grant Discerai the limited permission needed to store, process and display it according to your visibility choice.
AI and educational guidance
Generated responses are study aids, not guaranteed answers or professional advice. Check important work against reliable sources and your institution's assessment rules.
Credits and plans
Your billing surfaces identify whether your account is still on its promised legacy monthly policy or the weekly wallet. On the weekly wallet, Free receives 220 included credits every 168 hours and Premium receives 4,350, with included carry capped at 8,700. Purchased packs are available on both plans and do not expire. Premium billing remains monthly or annual as shown in payment provider Checkout; its billing date does not reset the weekly grant clock.
Community and moderation
Posts and comments pass configured automated moderation. Content may be held, rejected or removed for safety, spam, rights or policy concerns. Published documents can be made private again; active profile presentations remain public while private account data stays protected.
Suspension and deletion
Discerai may limit accounts that threaten users or the service. You may delete your account from profile settings; the deletion summary shown there explains removal, anonymisation and limited retained records.
Service and term changes
Features may change as the service develops. Material changes to these terms will be presented with an updated date. Continued use after notice means the revised terms apply where permitted by law.
